10:45 a.m. Next you will have the opportunity to walk around the neighborhood in Hongkou district where the Jewish communities once lived. Your guide will share stories of the past while you explore narrow alleyways and old Jewish homes. You will also visit Ohel Moshe Synagogue,
11:30 a.m. Take a break with a cup of coffee or tea (at your own expense) before moving on to your next destination.
12:15 p.m. After refreshments, you will pay a visit to the Ohel Rachel Synagogue in North Shaanxi Road where Shanghai’s Jewish community worshipped until 1952.

It was built in 1918 and used to be a mansion owned by a Jewish family, the Kadoories. This colonial-style villa, with its marble ballroom and impressive hallways, was turned into the "Shanghai Municipal Children's Palace" in 1963.
